Amphibians shed their skins as they grow, just like reptiles, but the skin is fine and moist.
Some eat their old skins. Frogs use their thumbs to stuff the old skin into their mouths. Newts sometimes leave ghost-like transparent shed skins hanging on plants in the pond.
