Kangaroos
Kangaroos, wallabies and koalas are marsupials. These baby mammals grow for only 5 weeks inside the mother. When they are born they are blind, and have no fur and are only 2.5cm long. The baby drinks the mothers milk inside the pouch and grows bigger and develops. After about 10 months the youngster is too big to get into the pouch and lives beside the mother on the ground. Marsupials are herbivores and eat leaves and flowers.
