Non-seed plants produce spores, but not seeds. Non-seed plants include moss and ferns. These plants are primitive in their structure. Their reproductive organs are hidden or not clearly visible. Have you seen bracken in an open moorland area, or spied a mound of moss sprawling over a tree trunk? These organisms are known as Cryptogams (sounds like "Krip-toe-gam"). |
