| Poached Egg Fungus |
|
| This fungus is white, with a yellowish centre, and is a little bit see through, just like a poached egg. It grows out of the side of tree trunks and branches. The Poached Egg Fungus prefers to grow on beech trees. | |
It can be found in many parts of Britain. Unlike a poached egg, it is poisonous, so you should never eat it.
