Canterbury Environmental Education Centre

Education - In, About and For the Environment

Canterbury Environmental Education Center is located in a nature reserve on the outskirts of Canterbury, Kent, UK. The centre provides facilities for research and teaching and supports primary, secondary and special schools throughout Kent.

We are a partnership project between the National Grid Company and Kent County Council Education and Libraries Directorate. The centre is a KCC project managed by the Kent Advisory Service.

Before a visit to CEEC, pupils and staff may take "virtual tours" of our Kingfisher and Sunrise trails and try Pond Explorer . Later, students may download data and pictures to help with their projects.

The Web site is a collaboration with EIS, Information Services Group. Please also visit our sister centre at Horton Kirby and the Children's University site.
