This cross-curricular programme concentrates on plants and their importance. There is a simple introduction to photosynthesis using role play. A range of leaf types are collected along one of the nature trails. Back at the centre, photograms (photographs made without a camera) are made of the leaves. Microscopes can also be used to study the fine structure of the leaves and provide an opportunity for detailed observation and sketching.
