In the building process for a group sculpture, children can be allocated different tasks or use ideas that they think will work within the general theme.
Handling materials is important - which way round, which way up, what colur to use.
Here lines, frames and colour are being used to give emphasis and energy to the theme of of triangles, an idea developed from the shapes in electricity pylons.
As the artwork developes care has to be taken about where things are placed and where children stand.
Working in a group is important. Here it is producing a dramatic result in a short period of time.
