This is an art and science programme for schools at Broad Oak Nature Reserve, Canterbury, Pfizer UK, Sandwich, and in the classrooms of the Kent schools involved - Langdon Primary School and St Saviours School, Westgate on Sea.

The whole process of making art based on the visual images of DNA and the ideas it generates about individual identity is shown step by step below. The project with the schools looked closely at what the scientific aspects of DNA mean, and this was then translated into drawing, painting, relief sculpture with natural materials and personalised three dimensional self portrait sculptures, made partly from materials gathered from a nature reserve where the children learnt about DNA in nature.
