Where is the Blean?
The Blean Woods are located on the heavy London Clay to the North of Canterbury, between the Stour Valley and the coast. What is the Blean?
The Blean consists of more than 2000 hectares of broadleaf woodland. It forms one of the largest areas of this type of woodland in Southern England. Oaks and Chestnuts are the most common trees to be found in the Blean and the area forms an important habitat for a wide range of biodiversity. What parts of the Blean can be visited?
