The park is about one and a quarter miles from end to end. At low tide a
circular walk can be taken along the beach returning by the cliff footpath.
The countryside surrounding the park is also accessible through an
extensive system of public footpaths. Details are available at the
Information Centre.
By Train
The nearest towns are Birchington to the east and Herne Bay to the west.
Both are on the main line between Ramsgate and Victoria, London.
Herne Bay station to the Information Centre, along the coast, is about
four miles. From Birchington station is about five miles.
By Cycle
The ride from Birchington is particularly easy, being dead level along
the sea wall footpath. When cycling from Herne Bay along the grassy
footpath great care should be taken to keep well away from the unstable
cliff edge.

There are no buses on Sundays.
