About Penwortham
Wild things

The Centre in Penwortham is one in a network of environment education centres at National Grid substations throughout England. In 1996 the Centre was given a new lease of life through a partnership with the Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, and the facility is now fully developed. This well resourced Centre is dedicated to Environmental Education and staffed by a team of professional environmental educators.
Opening Times
