Bingley Island
  • Nature Reserve
    Bingley Island is a small meadow nature reserve on the west side of Canterbury.
    The river here is not intensively managed by humans, however the river is split into 2 channels creating the 1st island in Canterbury.
  • River bank
    The river banks are natural encouraging wildlife and there is little flood protection. The habitat on the island itself is managed to stop the meadow habitat turning into woodland.
