Volunteering at West Boldon
Back
Volunteers assisting with woodland management West Boldon Environmental Education Centre offers a wide range of opportunities for volunteers who would like valuable work experience to assist them in finding paid employment and also for those who are looking to do something rewarding with their spare time. Volunteers can get involved in practical site management tasks. The site encompasses a wide range of habitats including ponds and reedbeds, woodland, grassland and marsh (see clickable habitat map).

If you are interested in working with children, volunteers can also assist with our teaching programmes, both formally working with schools or informally helping out at our monthly Saturday Eco-club - Wild Things.
To find out more about volunteering opportunities please contact John Allom at the Centre on 0191 5364873, or e-mail us at: westboldon.4seasons@pop3.hiway.co.uk
